Do You Believe in God / Written on the Bullet

Yep, Flyleaf is a Christian band.

While they have more popular songs that made the charts, "Cassie" hit me the most. Cassie was one of the victims of the Columbine High School Massacre in 1999 where a shooting rampage happened, killing 12 and wounding 23.

"Do you believe in God?" was the last question the killer asked Cassie before he shot and killed her. Eventually, the killer also shot himself, committing suicide. (It is still a matter of debate, however, if the exchange between Cassie and the killer did exist, but this version still

Charlie the Unicorn 2

Yes, friends!!!!!! There IS a part 2!!!!!!!!! *applause, then screams of horror*
I swear.
It's like the guy who made this compiled all his nightmares from childhood, resulting from the aftermath of watching too much Sesame Street. (but but but I like Sesame Street! O.O)
And then, the crack and the pot.

Enjoy, and be enlightened.

Then check your local directory for the nearest psychiatric ward.

(Everybody now! Just put a banana in your

Faith Like A Child - Jars of Clay

I was inspired by Lynn's post to present everyone the song that may have also inspired the title of the same aforementioned post.

There's no official music video of Jars of Clay's "Faith Like A Child" available, so I got this one instead. It's more of a slideshow of images that go with the song. Enjoy, everyone! :)

(hmmm... somehow I feel there's something grammatically wrong with "with faith like a child." Isn't it "with faith of a child" or, "with faith like a child's"? I can't put my finger on it. Oh well. I'll leave that to the Grammar Nazi.)

Dear God, surround me as I speak,
the bridges that I walk across are weak
Frustrations fill the void that I can't solely bear.

Dear God, don't let me fall apart
you've held me close to you
I have turned away and searched
for answers I can't understand.

They say that I can move the mountains
And send them falling to the sea
They say that I can walk on water
If I would follow and believe with Faith Like a C...

Wawi's Russian Partay Parley

Wawi, a dear friend of the Cap'ns, celebrated her birthday party last August 4, 2007 at Syquia Apartments, Malate. Wawi had just arrived in the Philippines from her trip to Russia, so she adopted a Russian theme for her party. There was a slideshow of the photos she took from Russia, a feast of imported cheeses, Russian dances, Middle Eastern chants, and a host of lovely people. Thanks and big hugs to Wawi for letting the pirates create ruckus in her party! :P
